# How to create a group?

Start a new message (click the "+" icon in the top right corner of the chat) > "New Group," then choose the group type: Regular Group or On-Chain Group.

* **Regular Group:** Select members (optional) > Enter the group name to complete the creation of a regular group.
* **On-Chain Group:** Enter the group name and choose the expiration period for the on-chain group > After completing the signature (the group will be recorded on the Endless chain), the on-chain group is created.
